About the Authors
Sumru Belger Krody joined The Textile Museum in 1994 and was appointed Chief Curator/Avenir Foundation Curator in 2025. Additionally, she is editor in chief of The Textile Museum Journal. Lee Talbot joined The Textile Museum as a curator in 2007, specialising in East Asian textile history. Most recently, Talbot curated the exhibitions Irresistible: The Global Patterns of Ikat (2024) and Korean Fashion: From Royal Court to Runway (2022).
